Youth Exchanges

In the Erasmus+ program, the most common projects are youth exchanges. The project lasts many months, but the actual activity you can attend is usually 1-2 weeks long. There are 30-50 participants, and the age range is 18-30.

Youth exchanges allow groups of young people from different countries to meet, live, and work together on a topic. It’s always using non-formal learning methods, so you will learn something outside the school environment while you can release your creativity in group work!

The daytime is usually spent learning and practicing, while the nights are about getting to know each other and other’s cultures more, and having fun!

Training courses

The trainings are more concentrated on the  professional approach, it includes more learning about the given topic, and usually includes less participants.

The key points are the same as in a youth exchange: 1-2weeks abroad, with people from other countries. However, they usually don’ have age range.

The main target group is youth workers, but feel free to apply if you aren’t one of them, since sometimes it is very hard to only include youth workers in a project.
